What exactly is Optins.com?
Optins.com is a funnel builder for creators, coaches, and marketers. You fill out a short form (headline, freebie, call to action) and we publish a fast, mobile-first opt-in page on a shareable link. Visitors who opt in land on a thank-you page that can run an AI appointment-setter chatbot, redirect to a booking link, or play a video. No drag-and-drop: pages go live in under a minute.
Do I need a domain or hosting?
No. Every funnel publishes to a short link under optins.com at optins.com/your-username/your-funnel-slug. Custom domains are included on Max. You do not need one to start collecting leads.
How do the AI chatbots work?
Each funnel can have its own appointment-setter chatbot trained on files you upload (offer details, FAQs, pricing, objection handling). When a visitor opts in, the bot greets them on the thank-you page and answers questions in your tone. It can ask for a phone number or send the visitor to a booking link. The bot only knows what you tell it.
Can I connect the email tool I already use?
Yes. ActiveCampaign is supported natively. Zapier works for other tools: an API key and a public endpoint return latest leads as JSON for Mailchimp, ConvertKit, HubSpot, Google Sheets, or anything else Zapier supports.
Where do my leads live, and can I export them?
Every lead is stored in your account and visible in the Leads tab of each funnel. You can export the full list as CSV at any time.
How does pricing work, and can I cancel anytime?
Plans are Free, Plus, Pro, and Max, billed monthly or annually. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Billing at any time. If you cancel, the account stays active until the end of the period already paid. No setup fee and no long-term contract. See pricing.md.
Is Optins.com GDPR-friendly?
There is a GDPR toggle in Settings that adds a consent checkbox to opt-in forms. Optins does not sell, rent, or share your data or your leads' data. You can delete your account and every lead with it from Settings.
What does the thank-you page do?
It is customizable. You can play a video, embed booking, show a redirect, run the AI chatbot, display testimonials, or keep it minimal and link to a download.
Can I clone a funnel or start from a template?
Yes. The dashboard has templates (workshop, ebook, waitlist) and you can clone any of your own funnels.
